13th Christmas I've spent incarcerated. For 13 long years I've been
completely isolated from the free world, completely cut off from meeting new
people. There are rumors that due to over-population [in prison], first time offenders will have their prison sentences
greatly reduced. I fall under this category. That's when I slowly and painfully realized I have nothing in the free world: no
friends, clothes, home, job, nothing. I'm not seeking pity, but help. For many years I've devoted myself exclusively to
intellectual pursuits in preparation for my release. I've written six novels and two screenplays. This is where help is needed
and please...No Games! My time may be limited, and again, I have nothing in the free world to call my own. This is all I
have to offer for a chance at happiness. And even if you don't write me, thank you so much for not turning your back on us
inmates. Time can be so cruel.
