times when I couldn't find a friend.  But I always thought I'd see you again." -- James Taylor.  Hello world, it's me
again.  That verse about sums up my whole existence.  I'm currently incarcerated in a federal penitentiary in Indiana,
but I grew up in a small town in southern Oregon.  I'm looking to write you on a personal basis without any
prejudices.  In prison it's a must to keep feelings hidden and not let anyone get too close.  Yet I learn to share my
thoughts, dreams, hopes and desires with a real person that's not putting up a front, including staff.  It takes years,
lots of work and some detrimental circumstances to force my eyes open and see that I had to reconsider my outlook
on morality, society and life in general.  It's almost impossible to not devolve inside the penitentiary, so I reach out to
my loved one and now you.  I like to read on a variety of topics and keep informed on current events.
I love music and it is my escape from this insanity.  I also enjoy staying fit, playing cards, calling home and
corresponding via e-mail.  I don't discriminate and would like to write you regardless of your age, gender, race or
sexual orientation.  So if you're missing companionship in your life and would like to share your mind and time, then
take a moment out of your busy life and respond.

COMMENTARY:  I believe life is made and defined by choices.  Some are right
choices and some are wrong choices.  We all have made both and as you can see
I've made my share of those wrong choices.  I don't have long left in here and this part of my life will be over and that
is when I can move on with my life.  I am hoping to find a man I want to dedicate myself to while I'm in here and when
I get out.  Perhaps he may find me.  I am not concerned with your age, race or looks.  Your being transgender is not
a problem for me.  I am only worried about what's on the inside.  I would love to share the world and myself with you
from both sides of these walls.
