My Political Views
I have one word for politics -- SUCKS!

I am liberal in my leanings.

Concerning the politics of equality, the only thing I do not
agree on is gay marriage.  

Marriage is a religious institution legally sanctioned by
government.  Each religious institution should have the right
to support or deny LGBT people marriages.  If LGBT
people don't like their religion's decision on the matter, then
they should find a new religion.

"God" and religion should be totally removed from politics.

Wearing or not wearing a US flag lapel pin does not make
you either a patriot or a non-patriot in my book.  What does
make you a patriot is in your heart, your mind and your
actions.

That whenever any Form of Government becomes
destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to
alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,
laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its
powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to
effect their Safety and Happiness.  The signers of the
Declaration of Independence, the Minute Men, George
Washington, men from the plow fields in tattered clothes
huddled in the Valley Forge encampment of the Continental
Army, Union Colonel Anderson of Ft. Sumter, Confederate
General Robert E. Lee, Union General W.T. Sherman, and
many others where both patriots and non-patriots. That is,
of course, depending upon your point of view, each is both
a patriot and a non-patriot.

Being an agent of positive change is my definition of
"patriotism."

Because he's the best come along in a long, long time and
represent a new direction our country sorely needs:  Obama,
Obama, Obama.
