Those Things I Like
My first and foremost love in life is music.  

Heavy metal in all of its forms especially, but I am a fan of
my styles and sounds.  Around age 11 I was introduced to
the classics by my father:  Led Zep, Floyd, Beatles, etc.,
and from there I discovered my generation's greats:  
Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Guns & Rose, just to name a
few.

Over the course of 20 years my love for music has
deepened and become basically that which keeps me
focused and in the fight to survive the adversities in life.  
For me, music equals liberation and empowerment.  

My defining qualities of people are those cherished by
many:  friendliness, outgoing, charitable, respectful of self
and others, live and let live, able to talk out problems, being
open to new experiences, accepting and encouraging of
diversity, being truthful, honest, able to admit to wrongs and
shortcomings, et al.

I like being around people who are not afraid to be
themselves.  Those that can celebrate their positives, yet are
not in denial of their negatives.  Human life is always a
work in progress and all that we are is all that we are.

Other entertainment I like.  I am very selective concerning
television and I don't watch much.  But what I do watch is
mostly eclectic:  scifi, pro-wrestling, old sitcoms.  I really get
into wrestling; I always have and always will.  My pick for
the top three greatest wrestlers of all time are Ric Flair, Bret
Hart and Chris Benoit.

I am just as eclectic when it comes to celluloid.  My top
genres are foreign, independent, documentaries,  and
docudramas.  Very little from mainstream Hollywood
studios interests me.  But I do cherish classics from my
youth such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek and
comedy legends Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase,
John Candy just to name a few.  My favorite actor is
Harrison Ford.

My likes in the sexual realm and pretty much vanilla.  None
of what I consider weird stuff life S/M or B/D.  I am
versatile and open to most any pursuit to achieve pleasure.  
I give as I receive.

Some other pursuits I like are hangin with friends, shopping
[no Sax 5th Avenue in this joint], travel, camping, hiking,
swimming, concerts, plays, museums, yard sales, eating out,
quiet times at home, sleeping, napping, working out, bike
riding...
